Ages ago, Anne of Green Gables; more recently You've Got Mail, Sabrina (the newer one), Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music.... Too many more. Thanks for offering the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteThe first movie that came to mind is Buffalo Jump. It's a really old movie made in Canada. I did watch that over and over. About wore out my VCR copy. Another movie I find myself going towards each Christmas is The Holiday.

ReplyDeleteEvery year they would show the Wizard of OZ on TV, and since it was my younger sister's favorite movie, we would get together and make a night of watching it. She was a Down's Child, all of her 51 years, so sweet. The comments she made, and the parts of the movie she would get excited about, pretend scared about, was the most fun part of the movie night. Great movie, great memories.

ReplyDeleteIt was entertaining to read through the favorite movies listed up to this point. Several of mine were listed, but I do think I would have to list my favorite Christmas time movie is ELF. But others listed that are favorites are Somewhere in Time, The Sting and Sound of Music are ones I will watch over and over. But Pretty Woman and Steel Magnolias are two more that I have seen many times as well.
