Heart Felt Quilt Along - It's Starting!!!

 I am so super excited!!!    It's here . . . the Heart Felt Quilt Along is officially kicking off today :)  This is Fat Quarter Shop's 9th Charity Quilt Along and I am so excited to be a part of it :)    This Charity Quilt Along benefits Make a Wish, and there were some wonderful Wishes granted from this Quilt Along last year, and I can't wait to see what Wishes come true this year!!!!

And not only do you help Wishes come True . . . by quilting along you get to make a  beautiful Heart Felt quilt!!!!   Fat Quarter Shop has designed 6 different  Heart Blocks that have come together to make this stunner of a quilt!!   The Heart Felt Quilt Along block piecing starts on February 4th, 2022 and a new block will be released the first Friday of each month until September 2022.   And now, you can get the Fabric Requirements and get your fabrics so you are all ready to start next month  ;)

If you want your Heart Felt Quilt to be just like the original there is a  Heart Felt Quilt Kit and Backing Set featuring Beautiful Day Fabrics by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics.   The kit comes with all the fabrics you need for the blocks, background and binding and it even comes in a Bonus Keepsake Box with Magnetic Closure.   And one other bonus . . . The Kit comes with all of the patterns so you don't have to wait each month for them to be released, and yes, it's the only place to get them early ;)    

     

But you can always branch out and choose your own fabrics as well ;)   I decided to go with Flirt by Sweetwater for Moda Fabrics for my Heart Felt Quilt!!   And I want all of those beautiful low volume prints to stand out, so I am planning on using a Graphite Cross Weave for my background!!!      I did a little mock-up in EQ8 . . . it isn't the exact design as I was just whipping it up fast, but it  gives the idea and is making me so excited to start this quilt!!!
