  3. Our decorations go up on Thanksgiving day, and we celebrate,Thanksgiving the following Saturday due to work schedules. Works perfectly for me…more help to decorate and more,family for the holiday!

  8. We try to buy our tree on Thanksgiving weekend and put it up soon after but sometimes we need to adjust to work schedules and it becomes early December before the tree is up.

      My husband refuses to let me decorate into after Thanksgiving, so day after Thanksgiving is when our tree goes up! (Though i managed to put Xmas window clings up already with the excuse that our toddler would love them!)

  90. This will be the second tree we've put up over the past 11 years. We lost our 2 sister yorkies (who LOVED Christmas & their presents) and I couldn't put up a tree as I missed them so much.   94. We put up the tree anytime before Christmas. :-) Sometimes it is soon after Thanksgiving, but other times, well, it is much closer to Christmas! But my rule is that it stays up for a month, so sometimes it may not come down till January 23rd! :-)

  99. I decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving while watching college football. My mom, however, has already put up her tree as she likes to enjoy it for longer. She usually takes everything down the day after Christmas!

  108. After Thanksgiving and usually after the first of December. When our girls were growing up, we always waited until after December 7 because that was our daughter’s birthday. No Christmas until after her birthday was the rule. We have kind of continued that even though she is now all grown up and has a family of her own, kclayton77@me.com
