  7. "Family" craft day! On the weekend after Thanksgiving, we gather to make some new holiday decor-glue guns, ribbon and all sorts of wood shapes and FUN! I made a "tin tile" stocking, a double-decker snowglobe and a cute framed Rudolph.

  26. I've squeezed in some sewing time every day in the past week...mostly because my hubby's been ill and I had to be quiet while he was napping....so off to the sewing room I went!

  27. I snuggled my 3 1/2 year old grandson Clyde Sunday night. He's a big snuggle bug. We were in Texas for Thanksgiving then celebrated Christmas early with the grands on Friday. That was so fun! Then my daughter took me to the local quilt shop and I paid for most of her purchases as well as mine! I love having a daughter who quilts!! We flew home yesterday and I must say sleeping in my own bed last night was wonderful. There's no place like home!! ❤️

  39. I think this will count as fun and major accomplishment 13 lap quilts quilted. They now need binding and will head out the door to Oncology patients and Foster Children. I won't mention the non fun part but I survived.

  43. When taking my sewing machine in to get it checked out - it was so fun to check out their 'work horse' sewing machines and getting demonstrations - and dreaming of how nice it would be to buy an up-to-date sewing machine :)!

  45. This week I put up the ceramic Christmas village that I painted as a teenager. I'm 63 now, so it's been around a while, but it's still beautiful and it still makes my grandchildren ooh and ah!
