ReplyDeleteWe have been blessed to go on several cruises now but the first big one I may remember best, We had been teaching for the BYU China Teacher's Program for five months and living in rather austere conditions. The outside temperatures had dropped to 5 degrees outside--rather cold when one is walking and has no car to use! We flew to Singapore when our winter break started and it was 95 degrees there! We cruised from there for 14 luxurious days throughout South East Asia to Hong Kong where we had a conference to attend. I had no cooking to do or housework in an apartment that was always dusty because the wind was always blowing dirt in. We were warm! Several other teachers from the program came with us so we had so many other grateful friends to celebrate our holiday. I don't think I will ever go on another cruise where I could be more grateful!
