New Happy Quilting Pattern - Twilight Stroll!!

 It's day 4 of my new Happy Quilting Patterns and today it is all about . . . Twilight Stroll!!!    And while I know it looks like you might be piecing on point, you are not.  This is just one block with a little sashing inbetween.  Isn't it so great how it creates the secondary designs that make it look like two blocks on point!   So fun ;)

The  Twilight Stroll can be found in my Etsy Shop in both a Paper version as well as a PDF version.  And it is on Special for it's release with PDF Patterns at $6.50 and the Paper Patterns are $8.00!  The patterns are full color and the paper version is in book format.   

   

Twilight Stroll is a beginnr skill level pattern.   And this is a scrap friendly quilts so that means you an do some stash busting, especially if you have a drawer of bonus HST's !!  You can also use Layer Cakes if your scrap stash is on the small side (or come "borrow" mine, because my stash is overflowing :)  Techniques used in the pattern include No Waste Flying Geese, Half Square Triangles, and Square in a Square units.  And yes, we make those HST's angled seams nest :)   

This Twilight Stroll quilt is made with Midnight Fleur by Jessica Rose for Moda.    This fabric line will be showing up in quilt shops in November!! The colors just perfectly spoke "twilight" to me.  I also used Vanilla Grunge for the background which is quickly becoming a favorite!    And because this quilt is all about small patchwork, it is important that whatever Layer Cake (or scraps) you choose, that the prints really stand out from the background ;)    And of course, you can always use a dark background as well,  I might already have one in the works with low volume scraps, so exciting;)  

And I had so much fun quilting this one!  Again, I wanted to make the small pieces really pop, so I choose only to do quilting in the background.  It really makes the prints standout!!   I did Figure 8's in the "faux sashing", and pebbles around the "faux on point" blocks.   Just keeping up the illusion that makes this quilt so much easier than it looks.  And oh so much yummy texture, just makes me so happy!!  

  

Twilight Stroll like my Happy Quilting patterns, has multiple size options so you can make whatever size quilt works for you ;)     The pattern has 5 size options :  Baby, Lap, Picnic, Twin, and Queen.    

The lap size is shown in the pictures.
