Today I get tot share a new quilt finish of one of my new Happy Quilting Patterns that were released in August. And here it is, the new Home Is Where The Heart Is Quilt featuring the adorable prints of Kissin In The Moonlight by Lori Woods for Poppie Cotton. I am so excited to be sharing versions of my new quilts with dark backgrounds, I just love how it always makes the prints pop!!
Home Is Where The Heart Is is a Fat Quarter Friendly pattern. You can grab a Fat Quarter Bundle and then divide your Fat Quarters into groups of Houses, Hearts, Roofs, and Windows/Doors. It really makes it super fun to be able to play with where each of the prints is going to go in your quilt ;) And again, I just couldn't wait to use a dark background fabric and the Blue Ribbon Country Confetti is a favoirte of mine ;) . Barbara did the amazing peicing on this one for me. And I just love how this quilt uses every last little bit of each Fat Quarter piecing the piano keys border, just a fun way to finish the quilt ;)
Home Is Where The Heart Is is an experienced beginner quilt pattern. This pattern includes techniques such as stitch and flip corners, tiny piecing and nested angled seams. And don't you just love all of those tiny little offset hearts for the cornerstones. They are just so cute!! And yes, even those heart tops nest in the angled seams making it easy to get perfect points everytime.
And that is the new Home Is Where The Heart Is Quilt, and I just love it so much! I hope you love this quilt just as much as I do!! And if so, pop over to my etsy shop for your Home Is Where The Heart Is pattern and then get Happy Quilting!! And please, I would love to see your quilts when you are all finished!!!
