October Sew Sampler (and August too!)

 I just love the Fall!!  It really is my favorite season ;) And the October 2026 Sew Sampler Box has all of the fun fall vibes!!!   The theme is Comfy and Cozy and I just love it!!  In fact, I love it so much, I am actually thinking I can handle that zipper, so fun :) 

I was so excited for this Cooton Nook Bundle from Minki Kim.  Minki was teaching at Garden of Quilts in the classroom next to me, so I got to see all of her beauitful fabrics.  I was so excited to open this bundle, my favoite is the organe print, just so cute!!!    And that Nested Star Quilt pattern is just a perfect way to show off all of the prints.  

But . . . I might be so excited  that I am actually thinking of trying my hand at a bag again!!  How cute is this Allover Project Bag by Minki Kim!!!   And the fact that the matching Cotton Ribbon, beauitful double slide zipper, and even woven labels are included makes me feel like this is meant to be ;)   I mean, sure, 3D Sewing is a little trickier, but I know Minki writes a fabulous pattern and I am so excited to jump in and give it a try.   

And of course, with a new box, we have another new Spooled Quilt Along Block  and this is Block 7!!!!   I am using Morning Latte and am getting into using more prints in the background based on what I have.   So fun :) .  There are still a few limited Kits in the adorable Petals and Polka Dots by Bunny Hill Design if you are just joining in.   These blocks are so fun and fast to make, I am just loving it!!   

And that is the October  Sew Sampler Box!!  But guess what, that's not all today :)   The August 2026  Sew Sampler Box has arrived and it was so worth the wait.   I am so excited!!    The theme is Dandelion Wishes and I am loving this  box of quilty goodness!!   

Iwas so excited to find this bundle of Sunshine and Dandelion Fat Quarters by Tara Reed!!!   Tara is such a fabulous artist, and her colors always play so nice.   And do you see the little Converse Sneakers, how cute are those!!!   And the Adrift Pattern is such a beauitful way to showcase each of the prints in the line.  Just so pretty :)    

And the notions for this box are all for making the Adrift pattern, love that FQS makes it so easy for us.   The Butterfly Templates are so nice, and yes, they are acrylic so they will last and last!!!!  And the Sew Simply Shaper is sew going to come in handy!!!  I am always looking for a good pointy tool for reversing fabrics.   And the Interfacing and Thread is always a good staple to have on hand.   Just so great. 

And now we get to jump back to Block 5!!!!   Isn't it so fun.   I did change out a fabric in the pinwheel to add a little more pop, and I just think it looks fantastic. 

And that is the August Sew Sampler Box !!  Double the Fun this month :)  

And just a note, there was some openings for this new years Sew Sampler boxes but they filled up super fast.  It's a great time to jump in!!
