Quatrefoil Quilt in Sandy Beaches Batiks!!

 Today I am so excited to share a  finished quilt with you that I was able to make for my wonderful friends at  Riley Blake Designs!!  This quilt is called Quatrefoil  and I just think it is oh so beautiful!!  The Pattern is by Wendy Sheppard and it is such a fabulous pattern!!  And doesn't it just look amazing in these Sandy Beaches Batiks by Riley Blake ;)    

The  Quatrefoil quilt uses 16 Fat Quaters along with a background fabric.   And the pattern has the option to add a star in the middle of each block if you so desire.   Isn't it just so pretty how the large block in two prints really allows you to emphasize all of the gorgeous prints!!   The quilt finishes at 83" x 83" so it is a great size to curl up with!  And of course, it would be super easy to add or subtract blocks to make it the size you need.    

This Quatrefoil  quilt is made with basic piecing.   And yes, those are some tiny squares in the outline, but it really comes together awesome, and makes it easy to get those crisp points.  It is great for experienced beginners and experts alike!!  And with the large blocks, you will have it whipped up in no time!!  

Once I had made up the quilt top, it went off to Riley Blake where they quilted it up with this gorgeous all over four clover design.  It really is fun to see what amazing things digital quilting can do.    And yippee for yummy texture and a super close up so you can see how the block outline all comes together!!  

And that is my Quatrefoil  quilt!  And wow, I just love the pictures the team at Riley Blake takes!!  Aren't these just so pretty!!  Wouldn't this just be such a lovely quilt to layout at the beach and enjoy some sunshine and surf :)
