Staring some new Projects!!

Well, I am finally feeling like I am starting to catch-up from summer and fall.  Not bad since it is now November :)   But you know I can't stay "caught up" for long, so of course, I started 4 new projects this week!!!  Did you see all of the awesome Market pic's this last weekend??   Well one of my favorites was Hey Boo by Lella Boutique!!!  I so love Halloween when you add in Lilac, Rose, and Lime!!!  And what better time to start a new Halloween Project than on Halloween day!!!   I am working on a remake of one of my new patterns and I can't wait to share more, but first, I got a whole lot of trimming to do with my HST Bloc_Loc :)

But my new Pineapple project needs no trimming as I cut it all out using the AccuQuilt Pineapple BOB Die.   Its so nice that everything just fits so perfectly.   And if you are going to make a "Pineapple" quilt, why not make it in Yellow scraps :)   This will eventually be a new project for my friends at AccuQuilt and I am having so much fun going through my yellow scrap drawer!!!

I also just finished cutting out a new Willow Layer Cake.  This line comes out pretty soon, and I can't wait to get sewing on it.   This will be a new pattern I hope to release in the next month or 2, and you better believe all of those pretty strips are going to make the cutest scrappy binding!!  So fun ;)

And last but not least, I now need to cut into this beautiful Blossom Lane 10" Stacker.  You know I couldn't resist those beautiful cabbage roses on that great purple background!!!   Anything with purple and I am all in ;)   This will soon be a new quilt that I will be sharing as a free pdf pattern.  So I best get back to cutting!!!

So those are the 4 new projects I am starting this week!!   What are you starting to work on??

October Sew Sampler Box!!

October has for sure been a catch-up month for me :)  It has been nice to get some of my "in process" projects all caught up, and just in time to add some new projects from my October Sew Sampler Box!!     The theme for this month is All You Need is Love and I am so in Love with this month's box!!!

I was so excited to find 3 Beautiful Lighthearted Charm Packs!! I have sewn with Lighthearted for this Baby Quilt, and I am so looking forward to making this Heart and Soul Quilt as well!!!  I just love Camille's Fabrics, they are always a favorite!!! And you know, I can never have enough Charm Packs, and this month was a Triple Bonus!!!

And the notions for this month are just so fun!!!! My 3 Girls all want to make the Love Charm Tote!!!  Looks like I will need to get a few more Kit's so they can all sew along ;) Which means, I most likely will need more of the Lighthearted Enamel Charms as they will all want one to go on their tote, so cute!!!   And the Dritz Seam Width Gauge will come in handy while making the tote, so great!!!

And with all of this quilty goodness . . . I think I have to officially say I won't be making the Pressed Flowers Quilt Along this year!!!!  I am planning to keep all of the patterns so that I can make it at some point because it is just so pretty, but I just can't fit it in right now.  But truly, someday, and now all I have to do is decide on fabric so it bumps it up the someday list, to the "to be cut" list ;)

And just a note, there are currently some openings for this new years Sew Sampler boxes but they filling up super fast.

And that is October Sew Sampler Box.  I am so looking forward to November's Box already :)

Happy Quilting!!!

Simply Jelly Roll Quilt Along - Week 7 - Finished!!!

It's Week 7 of the Simply Jelly Rolls Quilt Along hosted by Fat Quarter Shop.   This week we are finishing things up.   And I am so excited to share this Simply Jelly Rolls Quilt all done!!!  Isn't it just precious ;)    You can download the Week 7 - Finishing Directions Here

I just love how the Evermore Jelly Roll by Sweetfire Road gave this quilt such a charming vintage look.  I think it fits the sampler just perfectly.   And I am so in love with the 3 color combo it uses!! Such a great way to make those beautiful fabrics shine.

When it came time to quilt it, I decided to keep with the "vintage" look and do some all over loose feather free motion quilting.  It truly is one of my go-to favorites and I just love all of the movement it gives the quilt.

Movement, and texture!!  Doesn't all that yummy texture just say "snuggle up with me".  And it got cold here this week, so I have been doing a lot more snuggling in quilts ;)   And this quilt finishes at 80" x 86" so it really gets the job done for snuggling and keeping warm!!!

And that is my Simply Jelly Roll Quilt.  I had so much fun quilting along with my friends at Fat Quarter Shop!!  Sampler quilts are just so fun as you get to make so many different blocks and use lots of techniques.  This one was just great to make and I am just so happy with the finish!!!

Even if you didn't join in the quilt along fun, you can still make your own Simply Jelly Roll Quilt!!!  Just check out the Simply Jelly Rolls Quilt Page for all of the patterns and Simply Jelly Roll Quilt Book that you will need to make your own!!

Thanks for popping in today and sharing this finish with me ;)  Have a Happy Quilting Weekend!!
