WIP Catch Up Edition (Sort Of)

So with the Simply Charmed Blog Hop going on around here the last couple of weeks I haven't been showing a lot of what I have been up to.  And believe me . . . Things have been hopping :)

I was asked to teach a class for a church group on basic machine care and the disappearing 9 patch block.  So, of course I had to whip up a little demo.  My daughter's teacher is expecting a little boy in the next month so I made it with her in mind.  After the class she will be the new owner of this little bubble baby boy quilt :)

And I was playing with my Slice again for the pieced backing.  I got some new design cards that I just had to try out.  So cute!!!

I had a few other finishes but I will talk about them in later posts (Like as in after my swap partner receives them :)   My daughter and I have started to sew her little quilt together.  It is slow going as she learns the feel of the machine but I am happy to say that she is having a good time with it and seems to really be enjoying herself.

And today I am hoping to get this quilted up.  It is for the pillow talk swap.  I had so much fun designing it and piecing it.  Now I just have to decide how to quilt it.  Any suggestions???

So . . . . That's a quick brush over of what I have been up to.  On to the line-up :)

  11. Love the pillow design. I think I'd do dense straight line quilting following the areas in-between the striped strips - it'd make some interesting patterns :)

  14. I love all your quilts. That last quilt reminds me of a kids game. I think I'm thinking about Candy Land.
