TNT Thursday

So I have been in a bit of a funk since I got back from Salt Lake on Sunday.  (Do you ever have those days, or several days???) The only thing I have sewn hit the scrap pile because I just wasn't liking it.  So I suppose I can show you something that I actually did a few weeks ago but haven't shown as it is for a little later this month.  But a sneaky peak is always fun  :)

So here is my Trying New Things for TNT Thrusday.  I did a new quilting stitch.  It is similar to a basic stipple but instead of nice curvy edges it is all completely straight and boxey.  I had a lot of fun doing this stitch and it really wasn't to bad once I got over the impulse to curve :)  And it really fits the quilt well so I am super happy about that :)

So what have you been Trying New this Week??  Hopefully you were a little more productive than me :)  Link up your pics, or posts.  We all want to see what you Tried :)

  5. Your "down" id prolly cause of the high you had while away. Now you are back and "in charge" again and in real life doldrums-lol. it happens to us all. Like people in the North get SAD when the snow and darkness and us here in the South of TX gets SAD around August-Spet when the heat and bright sun is killing us-lol. Tis true, one gets tired of all the brightness sometimes. I wish I knew how to do that kind of quilting, I need to learn-you do great!

  6. That stitch looks neat. I've never seen it used before. I hope you will show a larger close up picture of it later this month.

  7. I like your quilting pattern. I didn't do anything new this week - just the same old stuff. =) Unless a recipe counts, but I didn't take a picture or blog it, either.
