I'm working on a quilt for my fiance's sister and have to finish it within the next 2 days as her doctor has told her she only has about 2 weeks to live.     I want to get my next quilt planned out and get all the cutting done before the end of February. Kitchen remodeling starts in March and I will have to take several days off work to be home while the workers are there. My sewing machine and I will have some much needed bonding time on those days off!

    Well the end of Feb is only one week away. I am sewing myself a civil war dress for myself for our sons wedding. By the end of Feb. I hope to have the pattern pieces for the bodice sized properly and cut on muslin to make sure it fits properly before I cut into the expensive fabric for the actual dress.

    Well...there's no way I'm getting my quilting project done by the end of this month. I have been thinking on drawing a paper-pieced pattern for a quilt that my daughter is wanting as a wedding quilt. I just think it will be easier and more precise if I make a paper-pieced version.

    I have TWO projects I need to get done before February is over. One is a banner for a friend who is graduating from Wartburg Seminary and another is a small wall hanging for a sweet friend. I work well under pressure, so I know they'll get done and will look great!
