  6. I live in NY . It was 6 below 0 when I got up. We have reached 9 degrees. We got 16 inches of snow yesterday, glad it was not freezing rain and ice. We have that under the snow! Keep warm everyone....

  35. Crazy weather here today. Snow overnight and early this morning, heading to +5C with rain early in the afternoon, then to -11C by suppertime. We have a flash freeze warning because all the water on the roads will freeze really fast when the temp drops like that. It's going to be a mess. Thankfully we don't need to drive anywhere.

  81. I am from Southern California; therefore now living in KS it is very cold compared to what I am used to. Even after 5 years, it doesn't make it easier. I still miss the beach, the water... the calming sounds of the waves... ugh. I can't wait for Spring, Summer and Fall already!

  85. We got 8" of snow over the weekend, and wind chills and frigid temps caused school to be closed yesterday, so all of the kids went sledding, according to the paper. Guess we have one of the top 10 sledding hills here in Lincoln according to USA Today.

  109. I can't believe how lucky we in Minnesota have been lately. My sister in southern Wisconsin got over 10" of snow this past Sunday, but we only got some wispy flakes. It is colder here now, with highs in the low double digits, but I haven't left the house in 3 days, so it doesn't bother me!
