My summer is okay I guess... too busy to really stop and think about it really! I have been sewing a lot, which is great... and I am chasing around a toddler, working, and doing all the other mundane things of life. Nothing exciting or noteworthy really, just a new adventure daily with an almost-2 year old.

It's been a busy summer, and it's only going to get busier. Having a great time though, so I'm not complaining!
ReplyDeleteBeen sewing alot - I have 3 big projects in the works and a gazillion swaps. I also have just put my bags in a local shop and our town festival is coming up so I'm making stuff for the Shop's booth plus Bible school and teaching craft class

ReplyDeleteIt's been busy chasing my 7 children around and teaching my oldest one how to drive!!
ReplyDeleteMy summer isn't going well as we will have been c/o AC for a month this Friday. Repairmen just shoot from the hip we have found out and don't check things out - just go with what is the first thing they see which has cost us a lot of money and sweat. My mom, 90 years old, is in the hospital. Other than those two things, I am still trying to work on my cathedral window quilt, but the heat is making it a hard task. Ya'll have a great summer.
ReplyDeleteSummer is just par for course. Nothing out of the ordinary, but then my kids are 7 and under, and I hate the heat of summer.
ReplyDeleteOur summer fun begins this weekend with a day at an amusement park (my husband's work pays for the group to go each year) and the weekend after is a family reunion. The week after that (home)school starts. I've basically just been getting everything ready for the new school year (which is fun for me, so it works).

ReplyDeleteI've had a productive summer. I've been canning and freezing veggies and fruits. I've also made a baby quilt and am finishing a UFO throw sized quilt. Can't complain...although I do wish the rain would slow down and we would get more sun. Our garden is suffering.
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to Shabby Fabrics newsletter.
ReplyDeleteGreat summer so far but I didn't get half the things do I wish for!
