  15. At this moment the crock pot is cooking my version of pork stew. Sweet potatoes, pork diced and browned, apples, onions, a whole bulb of garlic, and cooked in cider. It's a family favourite.

  23. Bad day to ask that question, tonight is ready meals! We haven't had them for about 3 years! We don't have a microwave so it's fairly pointless but they were on offer and I'm feeling lazy and have stuck them in the oven - lasagne and mushroom risotto!

    Maybe soup, maybe eggs. It is just me and hubbs the empty nesters, so sometimes I make tomato soup and we eat corn chips with melty cheese

  58. I have a couple of left over sausages, so I'm going to stir fry up lots of veggies and add in the cut up sausages and make some kind of carb for my husband who seems to think it's a requirement. if I decide to add yams or potatoes to the one pot, that will be the carb.

  64. Today s a leftover day. Yesterday I made a huge pot of pork carnitas. It's great on tortillas with taco filling or I add a little BBQ sauce and serve it on a bun. I serve coleslaw as a topping? Perfect to have in the freezer for that I really don't want to cook today, or have no time my husband plays for Chandler Symphony and between his work and rolling to rehearsal I have 45 minutes to feed him.

  72. French dip is on the menu for tonight. Slowly simmered beef (cheap cut) in beef broth then thinly sliced on toasted buns. Easy, cheap and yummy - my favorite kind of meal!

  122. Crockpot Salsa Chicken. 2 Chicken breast, salsa and chili powder, cook all afternoon, yummy! I serve it with rice or noodles.
