  15. My good friend Elaine is having surgery today to correct a problem that has been affecting her quality of life for several years. I am happy that her doctors finally discovered what was wrong with her.

  26. I am currently away from home as a full time caretaker for my mom 2000 miles away from my "boys" (27 and 30) it makes me happy :) when they call me at the end of their day on their way home from work to check on me. it is a lifesaver. jecagain@gmail.com

  120. Today, I am working in my "happy" place...the Local Quilt Shop--Karen's Quilt Shop in Sequim, WA. It is a part-time job and enjoy being with the fabrics and helping customers with their projects.

  127. I got a parcel of fabrics today from an on-line friend I made through The Splendid Sampler. That made me pretty happy. Also this evening I spent the evening surfing the net for a quilt pattern and I loved looking at all the wonderful creations out there. I still haven't found the pattern I want but enjoyed the search.

  150. What was making me happy yesterday (Tuesday) was that I was taking myself to the movies after work. I saw Ghostbusters in 3D. I love 3D movies and I love Ghostbusters, so it was a perfect fit.   157. I am in Branson, MO w the Bible Quizzing National Finals for Jrs. Hundreds of kids have learned 300-400 Bible verses this year. My grans compete and as a friend said.......a few minutes in the Word of God is a few minutes in the presence of God. Beautiful and I'm happy for all who compete.

  162. What is making me happy is that my son just texted me that he will be in California next month and we will be able to meet him there. He lives on the opposite coast from us and we only see him about once or twice a year so this is good news that is making me happy.
