Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!!!

It's Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day!!!  I love this day!!!  Now I know it's not Tuesday (for those of you who are visiting for the first time, there is a Terrific Tuesday Giveaway Day each week at Happy Quilting) but I haven't missed a Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day since I started this blog so it is tradition now.  With that said,  I know you have lots of places to visit so lets get right to it :)


Up for grabs is a Fat Eighth Bundle of Bonnie and Camille Basics!!!  Can I just say . . . I love this bundle!!!  How can you not love that rainbow of goodness ;)  It will make such a pretty quilt!!!  And it is for one of you lucky readers!!!


And along with this bundle, I will add a signed copy of my book, Irish Chain Quilts ;)

  9. I am too new to have a go-to, so I go-to whatever catches my eye, lately woodsy colors and prints. I just started a bright primary color jack and jill quilt and so white might become my new go-to for the next few weeks! :)

  13. I use fabric from charity shop. I look for old, vintage and retro fabric. Also handmade old tablecloth and other handmade thing in fabric.

  16. I luv quilting. I live in the country and try to repurpose jeans and work shirts as much as possible. I like using my AccuQuilt to cut them and work them into quilts along with 5x5 squares & jelly rolls

  18. I use a mix of vintage sheets, table cloths, fabrics together. I try not to mix them as vintage fabrics require a bit more care and the cotton is more organic than todays quilting materials. Would love this stack. I have followed you on Pinterest for a while now and now am following you on Instagram.

  80. I love a tone on tone prints to use as background fabrics, as I think it gives more depth that just a solid basic. The grunge does the same thing so I like that too!

  82. I haven't made many quilts, but most have included solids as my basic. BUT, the quilt I'm working on right now has shown me that solid is not always the best choice - it looks so flat in my current quilt - that I need to start including some really low volume or texture instead of just a solid all the time...

  83. I love working with Stonehenge - they have a wonderful white that works up so beautifully in baby quilts for girls. I am currently working with lots of greys and blacks thou - go figure!

  141. I used to use a lot of white, now I use a lot of tone on tones from everyone. Moda is wonderful, Miller is great Lose is good, I'll use them all. Grey is becoming popular with me. Go figure.
