    We have a tradition of dying Easter eggs in goblets so the kids can see their eggs. I like leaving them in for a long time and how the green dye leaves spots of blue sometimes.

    I have to pick one color? I like doing eggs that are one color on one end with a different color on the other end and a band where the colors overlap.

    I can't answer your question because everything I think about Easter Dye I think about how great it is for dyeing wool/alpaca. My in-laws are used to me bringing quart sized jars for saving the dye after our egg party. I hope I don't forget them this Friday!

    When I was a kid, I remember trying to get the pastel colors as bright and dark as possible. Purple and Green were my favorites.

    I like dyed eggs in stripes...sometimes daunting as you have to think it through. But...you asked for A color...so I choose yellow!

    I love the aqua colored eggs -- although coloring Easter eggs isn't the same since I started raising chickens. Must of my eggs are already colored... blue, green, brown, slightly lilac, chocolate brown... But it's fun non-the-less.
