  19. Have not made one as of yet - I have a set of blocks stitched up but not joined - was thinking of using a wild bright color to join them because they are pretty dark. I have a very large stack of b&w fabrics for a future project - pattern not yet determined.

  44. I haven't made just a black and white quilt before. But I have made a black, white, yellow, and pink quilt in a chevron pattern. It was my second quilt ever and I was so proud of it! I will have to try out a black and white one soon. Right now I'm working on a gray, white, and navy throw size quilt for a wedding gift.

  46. I used a layer and made a black/white/gray for my daughter when she went off to college. It was a MSQC chevron pattern. :) Taking a moment to brag..my daughter still uses it and is working on her Master's/PhD in Aerospace @ Texas A&M . :)

  82. I've made a lot of quilts where the "neutral" is a variety of black and white (usually low volume) fabrics. I use black & white fabrics all the time! At some point, I'll definitely do a black, white, and red quilt.

  91. Follow on Instagram. Have done a screen shot of dozens of the beautiful quilts I’ve seen there and put in a iPhoto album called “My Next Quilt: Copy This”. Great place for inspiration. Some fabrics are pretty; some patterns are cute. Knowing how to pair the two to make something stunning is a gift. You’ve got it in spades!

  93. Have never made a black and white quilt. Oddly, a close friend asked me the same question last week. I had decided to do one for her for Christmas. ( It did seem like a hint!). Now... what fabrics to use...? Hmmm...🤔. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a prettier grouping. Black and white, but muted and softened enough to make them perfect. Love this line!
