ReplyDeleteThe Scarlet Thread has some yummy fat quarter bundles!
ReplyDeleteI haven't given much thought to Christmas and certainly haven't done any shopping! However, my sisters got a big gift for my Mom and asked if I wanted to go "thirdsies." For sure I did!

ReplyDeleteI visited the Scarlet Thread shop and there were so many things I just loved. I loved the Halloween material.
ReplyDeleteI've bought one gift so far.
ReplyDeleteSad to say, Ive bought one stocking stuffer. Usually Im about 1/2 done. Too much going on this year. Should start someday soon.

ReplyDeleteI have just a couple things left to buy. I've been on a mission this year to make as many gifts as possible from my stash of supplies to help reduce my stash and save some money. I'm about 75% done making my gifts but still have quite a bit of work left to do. It's nice seeing the pile of gifts ready to be wrapped growing. I'll be breaking out the wrapping paper here in the next couple weeks! I hate marathon wrapping late on Christmas Eve...
ReplyDeleteI love the Black Tuxedo Zig Zag fabric in the clearance section! I've got an all black and white quilt on the brain. Not that I need to add to my "to quilt" list...
ReplyDeleteI have ordered one item, but I don't know who it is for yet.
ReplyDeleteNone - we don't exchange gifts anymore.
ReplyDeleteI visited the shop and Berried Treasure 40 Karat Jewels caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteChristmas shopping?! No, we're still celebrating Halloween!
ReplyDeleteNo shopping yet for me. I hate seeing Christmas items for sale before Halloween. I used to have a lot of shopping done by this time but realized I'm missing half of the fun of last minute shopping ... holiday music, great sales, happy shoppers, etc. Wait, if I'm making something as a gift ... that's a totally different story.
ReplyDeleteChristmas shopping? Truly? Haven’t even given it a thought!
ReplyDeleteI went to Scarlet Thread shop and looked at some fabric I'm interested in. Will be placing an order and signing up for the newsletter. Fair prices and good sale items.
ReplyDeleteVisited the shop! Lots of pretty fabrics to choose from. At the moment I’m searching for just the right fabric to back a particular quilt, and I spotted a gray Color Me Happy print that would be perfect. Thanks for sharing the link.
ReplyDeleteHI! Still about Thanksgiving here! Thanks for You+The Scarlet Thread for sharing a neat giveaway! msstitcher1214(at)gmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteMy family has so many birthdays right before Christmas it's hard to get ahead, but I try to add to my gift stash throughout the year! I kind of love that I'm never done gift shopping!

Of course. Now I just wait. Not worth the hassle, but I can seen the benefit of having it all checked off. Wouldn't that be nice!

ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, NO! I usually try and get a big jump on all the shopping, but this year I'm going to be a LOT more mindful about what I purchase and not just BUY everything. Lots of making. Need to have a lot more discussion with my husband.
ReplyDeleteHave only thought about getting ready for Christmas. I suppose I should start to actually do something though since it's approaching fast!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on this shop, it's a new one to me. I particularly like their kits section - that Tiny Whales Kit by Tilda would make a nice Christmas gift.
