  18. The thing I'm trying to finish in 2018 is not related to quilting, sewing or crafting. My hubby and I have met our insurance deductible for the year and we are squeezing in a colonoscopy before the year "ends."

  88. I am working on a memory quilt for my niece and I really want to finish it as quickly as possible - hopefully before the end of the year. I actually wanted to finish it to give as a Christmas gift, but that didn't work out. Now that the holidays are over I should be able to get it done quickly.

My favorite pre-cuts are the layer cakes and they have so many beautiful choices: New Hope, Portsmouth, Dandi Annie, Urban (something - I can remember)a beautiful black/beige combo and Summer Blush - I could go on and on.   124. I bought my daughter a sewing machine for Christmas and began teaching her how to cut and piece a scrappy quilt with some precuts she originally picked for me to make her something. It was fun to see how proud she was when the quilt top began to come together from fabric pieces to her beautiful masterpiece! Now I would like to teach her how to quilt it before going home after the 1st of the year.
