Cinnamon and the freshwashed smell after a rainstorm. At Christmas I liked to have a stick of cinnamon heating on the stove but several of my children violently objected. They are still pretty outspoken about it today!

I don't have one favorite smell. I love cinnamon, lavender, mint - and rich chocolate. But then looking at the other answers I realize that I only scratched the surface of my olfactory loves.
