Happy Little Things BOM - Block 3!!

It's the first Monday in October  and that means it's time for the second block  Happy Little Things Block of the Month!!!    This fun BOM is hosted by Jacquelynne Steves and you can still sign up as it will go from now until the end of the year ;)   And you can read all about Block 3 over at Jacquelynne's blog!!!    And so here they are . . . my Block 3's :)

And again, I am making two blocks each month instead of 1 for a mixed up finished layout, which means more fabric fun!!!  And I just love the pinks combined with the Navy in this one.  Isn't that just so cute!!!

I am using Gretel Fabrics from my wonderful friend Amy Smart and they are just so cute in these blocks ;)   And the gingham with this line are just so great!!  And I am loving using every little scrap in those scrappy borders, so fun!!

And there they are!!!  Two #3 Blocks for the Happy Little Things BOM!!!    And if you are quilting along be sure to share all of your Happy Little Things  rogress on social media with #HappyLittleThingsBOM and #HappyLittleThingsQuilt  and add them to the Happy Little Things Facebook Group.   And be sure to check out  these other bloggers to see lots more Block 3 Eye Candy and enter for more chances to win the October Giveaway!!!

  3. Love your blocks. I don't have a specific bucket list quilt - I have only made one quilt so far - that was a t-shirt quilt for my son's graduation - using all his old John Deere shirts growing up. I guess any quilt I could accomplish would be a bucket list one - I have been self teaching and have a lot to learn yet. Thanks. deanbren87@gmail.com

  12. So pretty! Love the primary colors and seeing the different interpretations. I am looking to quilt both Sherri McConnell's Family Farm sampler pattern, as well as, her Merry Mini Christmas pattern with the recently released Harper's Garden fabric selection. Being relatively new to quilting, I thought they would help further hone my quilting skills. My name is Susan and my email address is happytrail2u-rv@att.net. Happy Stitching!

  19. Love your colors -- I am making (4) of each block - had a panel that I cut up for the centers. My bucket list quilt was purchased in 2010 --- I have the kit in my to do list. It is an applique - I didn't want to mess it up, so it will be done once I am confident in my applique!!

  63. My bucket list keeps getting longer and longer, lol! I went from hand-quilting to machine quilting and then on to a longarm when I realized there would NEVER be enough time to finish all the quilts I want to make, let alone the tops I've started and finished. But---since you asked----I would like to make a masterpiece appliqued Cockscomb quilt in red, poison green and cheddar---my own little piece of history. Thanks for a chance to win the book---I'd love to make the Sunday Best Sampler but need the book!
