Charming Baby Quilts Remix - Twinkle Twinkle

Another Friday and another Charming Baby Remix!!!  This is quilt 5 of my Charming Baby Quilts Remix's and I am so excited to share it because I just love it!!!!!    I mean, stars and scraps, and panel centers. . . how can you not just love it :)  And here it is . . . the Twinkle Twinkle Remix quilt!!!!

Isn't this just so great!!!!  I know I already said I love it, but I really do just love, love, love it ;)   I remixed the original design by changing it to layer cake friendly instead of charm pack friendly.   So it is made the exact same way as the original, just on a larger scale.   So fun :)  This Twinkle Twinkle remix quilt finishes at 72" x 72" so it is perfect for snuggling up or using for a perfect picnic :)    And it just the exact same to piece as the original, just longer seams :)  (Pattern Adjustment's here)

And speaking of the original, here is my Twinkle Twinkle quilt from Charming Baby Quilts.   This is such a great baby quilt, and it is so fun to pick an accent fabric that just pops on that scrappy background.   It will just be great in whatever size or color you make it!!!

For this Twinkle Twinkle remix, I used 2 Layer Cakes of Apricot and Ash by Corey Yoder.   And I was just thrilled when I found that her Apricot and Ash Panel would work perfectly for my Star Centers!!!!   They really just finish this quilt so perfectly.    But I still used the same amount of accent fabric in the pattern, even with the panel because I used the same accent fabric for the binding.  So many fabric options, so fun!!!  This remix uses 2 Layer Cakes and  2 yards of accent fabric.   And it is just so fun to make those scrappy stripped background, I love the scrappy look you get with pre-cuts!!!

And when it came time to quilt it, I decided I on all over swirls.  It is just such a fun design and probally the one I can do the fastest as I have practiced it so much.   And I totally wanted to see just how fast I could go on my  new Long Arm and let me tell you, I could go fast!!!!   And oh my, did I have fun quilting this!!!

And I just love all of the yummy texture it gave this quilt!!!   This is such a dense all over design so it really gives you incredible texture that just makes me want to curl up in this quilt with a good book!!

So do you want to make your own Charming Baby Remix Twinkle Twinkle quilt??  Just download this free  PDF Twinkle Twinkle Remix Instructions  document.  You will need a copy of my Charming Baby Quilts book to make the Remix as the download just includes the alternations and not the complete instructions.  You use the book and the download together ;)

And that is my Twinkle Twinkle Remix quilt!!!  I hope you love it just as much as I do and want to make one of your own, either in the lap size or baby size ;)  And if you do,  I would love to see it!!  You can email me a picture at happyquiltingmelissa@gmail.com or post it to social media with the hashtag #happyquiltingwithmc and/or #charmingbabyquilts ;)  I can't wait to see your Tinkle Twinkle Quilts!!!
