ReplyDeleteThat’s a tough one. Watching all the movies with college roommates introduced me to Jane Austin. The BBC does an excellent job and I did read Pride and Prejudice but I like Sense and Sensibility most.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever read a Jane Austin book. My daughter is a librarian, and would hate for me to admit that!!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Jane Austen book - Pride and Prejudice.
ReplyDeleteJane Austen movies watched - Becoming Jane, Emma, Sense and Sensibility, Love and Friendship
and Pride and Prejudice ( 2005) . All are excellent.
Looks like I should be reading more.

I’ve read every one of Jane Austen books. I’m not sure I could choose just one favorite.
ReplyDeleteLou Lou has awesome bundles. Her Fallish one is beautiful
ReplyDeleteI've read and liked them all but I have to go with #1 Pride & Prejudice--the story is just so well-done--but I do really like Persuasion, too. I prefer the BBC P&P movie with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle (my daughters disagree--of course they like the newer one--Bah!) and I def like the BBC Persuasion movie ('95 w/Amanda Root). And I have to give a nod to Jeremy Northam's role as Mr. Knightly in Emma. The book Sense & Sensibility is great (Colonel Brandon!), best read while listening to the soundtrack of the movie! I'd better stop there. I could go on all day...
