  30. The "spring in my step" today is from this: I got up early this morning & sewed for an hour, had a leisurely breakfast with my husband, now heading outdoors to a beautiful warm, sunny day to work in the garden before a trip into town for a late lunch with my sisters. Happy Spring!

    Well, I am starting to feel a spring in my step…after 3 weeks in hospital with 2 emergency surgeries my Dad is finally starting to heal…and we are so happy about this! It has been an awful, stressful time.

  61. The best signs of spring is my rhubarb popping up and welcoming the sun. If there is a late snowfall, the rhubarb just takes a break and patiently awaits more sun and warmth. It never gets frozen or ruined, it can grow straight out under a blanket of snow. It gives me promise of early rhubarb pie and sweet rhubarb soup. That's spring for me!

  114. I'm not pregnant anymore! My son (second child) was born on Sunday, and while the newborn stage and the recovery stage isn't all smiles and roses, I do prefer them to the last stages of pregnancy :) Yay Spring!

  116. I so follow the IT. I get her newsletter, too. I even signed up to be a pattern tester for her stars and stripes table runner. I read through the pattern, sent her some notes on the writing of it, but never actually tested the pattern. I'm a horrible person, I know.

  160. My daughter puts a spring in my step. Just got back from California to shop for mother and grandmother of the bride dresses. We both found awesome dresses and got to spend a week with her and attend her bridal shower. Fun times! And of course, fabric always puts a spring in my step.

  166. I went to a Volunteer Apprectiation luncheon for the hospital I volunteer for. There was a woman there who has volunteered for 45 yrs! She made me have a spring in my step!
