  20. I've always been open to trying unfamiliar foods. Traveling to many foreign countries has made that possible. On my list to try is Rocky Mountain Oysters and a handful (no pun intended) of other things. However, I will never ever knowingly try any kind of insect. I don't care what it's covered in...not even dark chocolate will get an insect inside this mouth. Cringing and writhing at the thought of it...

  25. Although I eat a variety of foods, I don't consider myself an adventurous eater. I suppose the most exciting thing I have ever eaten are the giblets from a turkey.

    ReplyDelete
  26. When I was a kid, there was a restaurant that offered exotic meats (it closed a long time ago). I had whale steak...

  27. I love a lot of food, but don't usually veer far into the "weird" stuff! When I taught middle school, the science class always dissected squids, then they fried them up to eat. I tried it, but didn't like it. Oh, the smell!! I don't miss those days!

  36. Years ago, hubby and I took great delight in coming up with "interesting" lunch choices just to freaj out a co-worker. None of these things are "unusual" but the combination is (and it was yummy! Evelyn thought we were crazy!) Peanut butter and sweet red peppers on rye bread.... Wish I had some rye bread now!

The most unusual thing I have every eaten.... you mean, intentionally? LOL
    just kidding.
Totally at the top of the list, my neighbors had a birthday party for their daughter, The cake was a sheet cake and looked amazing. Like vanilla sheet cake with lots of vanilla frosting.
Well, I was so excited when it was cake time.
The cake tasted NOTHING like what we eat here in the US (SUGAR) this cake had no taste at all. There was no sugar in the cake I guess. It was so very odd. It was the first time I did not ask for seconds on cake
